Biography

DR. OTHMAN HUSSAIN MUTWALLI was born in Makkah in 1955. He graduated in Medicine (MBBS), from King Abdul Aziz University Jeddah ( 1981). He completed his Internship in King Fahd Military Hospital, Jeddah in 1982, and. as a resident, he served in King Fahd Hospital, Jeddah till I985. During 1985- 89, he had attended a residency program conducted by the Medical Division of Saarland University Hospital at Homburg Saar, Germany and worked in the ,following Departments there: Internal Medicine & Cardiology Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Hematology Nephrology & Hemodialysis, Diagnostic Radiology and Cardiology.

He completed his postgraduate medical training and qualified himself as a Specialist in Internal Medicine (1989) and a Specialist in Cardiology (1990), from the Medical Association of Saarland, Federal Republic of Germany.

From I 989 to I992, he served as a Consultant in the Dept. of Cardiology, King Fahd Hospital. Jeddah. He has been serving there as the Head of Cardiology Dept. as well as in Al-Noor Hospital, Makkah since 1994.

He is a leading member of the, following Medical Societies in Saudi Arabia: Board of Saudi Heart Association, Committee, for Interventional Cardiology Saudi Center for Organ Transplant, Saudi Board of Cardiology and Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
