Biography

DR. AKRAM HUSSEIN AL-KHADRA, a Saudi national, was born in 1955. After graduating in Medicine (MBBS), from King Saud University, Riyadh ( 1980 ), he went  to study in Canada and the US. Subsequently, he was honored with a Specialist Certificate in Internal Medicine ( The Roya1 College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canada, 1986 ). He was also awarded a Diploma in Internal Medicine ( 1986 ) and a Diploma in Adult Cardiology ( 1987 ) by The American Board of Internal Medicine, USA.

Currently, he is the Chairman, Dept. of Internal Medicine and Cardiology as well as the coordinator of Cardiology services in King Fahd Hospital of the University, AI-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He is also the Associate Professor in the Dept. of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences. King Faisal University, Dammam.

Previously, he held very important positions such as the Assistant Professor (College of' Medicine and Medical Sciences, Dammam), Medical Director ( King Fahd Hospital of the University, Al-Khobar) and Medical Resident (King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh)
