In great pain, the group received the bad news about the death of the group member, Dr Bin Huraib, in April 2003. The medical community in Saudi Arabia has sustained a great loss with his death. You can read the biography of Dr Bin Huraib in this page.

Dr Adnan Awada, the secretary general of the group and distinguished consultant neurologist in National Guard Hospital, had left to Lebanon on February, 2003 for one year. We are going to miss his great contribution to neurology in the Kingdom as a whole, and in the group as a member

SAGAS is not only interested in pure science, but also in social activities. This was seen when a football team representing Department of Physics in Riyadh Armed Forces Hospital and participating in the hospital tournament, kindly agreed to wear t-shirts with SAGAS logo and slogan on top (photo). The team played good matches. Click here for more in Arabic.
